Cities of Arrival

September 2014-December 2015  

A curated program of lectures, symposia, roundtables, exhibitions, performances, workshops, and activities that explored the pasts, presents and futures of cities and urban life, and critically imagined how humanity will share the most densely populated spaces on our planet. The program included: performances by the Gryphon Trio, Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan, and the Constantinople Ensemble; lectures by Doug Saunders, Nasser Rabbat, Asma Asfaruddin, and Alice Hunsberger; youth workshops with Maximum City and the Constantinople ensemble; Create, Connect Cairo & Cities of the Dead exhibitions.
